About the Library

What is it?   A lending collection of over 2500 books, close to 400 videos, periodicals, and a new audio    collection with both CD’s and cassette tapes.   A computerized catalogue allows searching by author, title, subject or series.

Where is it?  The Library is situated adjacent to the Church office, immediately to your right as you enter the office entrance to the Church.

Why do we have it?    We want to place the best Catholic/Christian resources within reach of all parishioners.

Who may use it?    Membership is open to all parishioners of Holy Spirit.  All that is required is that you fill out a membership form and present it on your next visit.

When is it open?    The Parish Library is open at the following times:

Saturday:       Before and after 5pm Mass

Sunday:         After all regular Sunday masses

Monday:        1pm – 3pm

Tuesday:        10am – Noon

Thursday:      1pm – 3pm

Does it cost anything to join?   It costs nothing to become a member of the Library, but we do request a voluntary donation of $1.00 for each video, CD, or audiotape borrowed.
