Instructional Sessions for Children and Parents will be held on Sundays, Oct. 22 & 29, Nov. 5 & 19 from 10:10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., between the two Sunday A.M. Masses. Volunteers are needed to help with the children for these sessions. Contact Virginia if you are able to assist.

poverty presentation: Join members of the Holy Spirit Inn from the Cold team for a presentation on poverty in Calgary called 'Inns, Tractors and Social Justice." The event will be held at the parish on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:00pm.   We will look at the prevalence of poverty in Calgary and consider ways we can act to reduce the impact of the social problem in our city.

Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday

We are reminded today to give back to God what is God’s. Surely that is our love, our good will, our prayer of praise and thanksgiving.  It is also to be generous in our service and support.

As we prepare for next week’s World Mission Sunday, let us pray for all who work in the worldwide mission field and remember to give generously to the collection on behalf of the missions.
